CESARE integrates data sets from a wide range of institutions and organizations that collect data on damage and natural hazard events for different purposes and in different systems.
This page provides an overview of the current status of the data sets from the various data providers. For clarity, the providers are divided into different sections.
In October 2025, the Austrian Court of Audit published the report “Extremwetterschäden in Österreich”. This report makes recommendations on the provision of data by various actors. This overview also aims to present the current status of the implementation of these recommendations.
- DUA = Data Use Agreement (RH recommendation on formalizing data provision for the CESARE database)
- SPOC = Single Point of Contact (RH recommendation on establishing a central contact point in the federal states)
Data from the federal states on the disaster relief fund (Katastrophenfonds)
Data provision = Data on disaster damage to 1. private property, 2. municipal property, and 3. state property
Datenbereitstellung = Daten zu Katastrophenschäden am 1. Privatvermögen, 2. Gemeindevermögen und 3. Landesvermögen
