The CESARE Network

ASDR Platform

The ASDR Platform (Austrian Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction) deals with the national implementation of UNDRR activities and the UNDRR Sendai Goals and Strategy. For this purpose, a national focal point has been established at GeoSphere Austria to coordinate these activities. Partners come from various sectors: federal ministries, federal states, emergency response organizations, academia, and the private sector. The goal is to implement the Sendai Framework 2015-2030 of the United Nations in Austria.

As part of the ASDR Platform, the National Damage and Event Database for Austria is being created.

Additional information about ASDR can be accessed here.
